A home for ambition, a path for success

FentonVillage2.jpgExperiencing life at JPC through the life of a Boarder is a unique opportunity to embrace the many pathways and co-curricular options available while developing your character as part of a boarding cohort of peers from around the world. Your fellow boarders will help and guide you, and we expect you to extend that same camaraderie, friendship and leadership as you progress through the Boarding journey.

At the heart of our campus is Fenton Village, home to 56 students from diverse cultural backgrounds, including Northern NSW, Thursday Island and Hong Kong. Our modern villas house eight students in four twin-share ensuite bedrooms, with a communal kitchenette and lounge areas fostering conversation, connection and forming lifelong friendships. With swipe pass security for enhanced privacy and independence and proximity to staff accommodations, Fenton Village is a safe, welcoming environment where boarders can truly feel at home.

Our boarders have access to a wide range of recreational facilities, including sports ovals, a games room, a dining hall, a basketball court and a fire pit. Additionally, they enjoy full use of the College’s extensive amenities, including the Aquatics Centre, double-court indoor stadium and gymnasium, ensuring a balanced and active lifestyle.

JPC offers a personalised learning experience designed to prepare students for success in post-school studies or the workforce. Our curriculum includes 28 senior subjects and seven Vocational Education and Training (VET) Certificates, providing students with a comprehensive pathway for their future.

Beyond academics, our boarders engage in various sporting, performing arts, and social activities that promote independence, resilience, self-confidence and maturity. These opportunities help shape well-rounded individuals who are ready to meet the challenges of the future.

At JPC, we prioritise exceptional learning, dynamic teaching, and the development of strong traditional values. Our students are always at the centre of everything we do, making the College not just a place of learning but a place where friendships flourish, life lessons are learned, and values are celebrated.

When students join John Paul College, they become part of something much more than a school – they become part of the JPC Family, a supportive and inclusive community that will stay with them for life.
