John Paul College Junior Primary includes Prep to Year 3 students.
Our Prep program acknowledges the precious opportuntiy of these early years and recognises children as capable learners who bring knowledge and experiences with them into the Prep setting.
Students in Years 1 to 3 are encouraged to follow their interests, investigate ideas and represent their learning through our PYP Units of Inquiry.
Our balanced curriculum provides a range of learning contexts including real life situations, investigations and inquiry, routines and transitions, and play. Play is particularly effective for learning the foundational concepts, oral language, thinking processes, problem solving and social competence that children require to be successful learners.
Each class is staffed by passionate, devoted and qualified Teachers, all dedicated to developing our young students.
To complement their core curriculum learning, John Paul College provides a diverse and rich range of co-curricular activities and special events for its students to explore their sporting and cultural talents.
Our Primary Handbook provides all our Primary teaching, learning and operational procedures and opportunities.
For parents interested in enrolling their child in Junior Primary, we ask that you complete the John Paul College enrolment form, and return to the Registrar's office at your earliest possible convenience, as all applications for enrolment are registered by the date received.
Outside School Hours Care and Vacation Care are provided on campus for all children in Junior Primary School.
